There were 112 students enrolled in Morning Sun Comm School District schools in the 2023-24 school year, 3.7% more than the previous year, according to the Iowa Department of Education.

Of all students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 54.5% were girls, and 45.5% were boys.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 98.2% of the Morning Sun Comm School District's total enrollment.

This increase was partially driven by the Students First Education Savings (ESA) program, with 27,866 students utilizing ESAs at nonpublic schools.
