Travel to the ancient stone theater on the Acropolis of Athens for this timeless performance mixing virtuoso musicianship with poetry, reflection, and the signature comedic charm of Bill Murray.
Bill Murray's New Worlds: The Cradle of Civilization features cellist Jan Vogler, violinist Mira Wang and pianist Vanessa Perez, and Murray himself performing dance, reciting poetry, even singing - and charming the audience gathered in this venerable Roman amphitheater, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, built more than 1,800 years ago.
This film originally premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in July and is only now being released to theater audiences.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students and seniors, and available at the Capitol Theater box office and through the Capitol website. Screenings are February 2, 3, 4, and 5 from 7 to 9 PM.
