City of Fairfield issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
The Christmas tree pickup will be on Monday, January 11th
The City Street Department will begin at 7:00 AM.
This service is provided for structures of one - three residential units; not multi-family dwellings of 4 or more.
This is for CHRISTMAS TREES ONLY and they must be placed curbside prior to 7:00 AM.
Crews will not return once they have passed by. Please remove all decorations, lights, and plastic bags to guarantee your tree will be picked up.
Thank you for your continued cooperation to keep this service free.
