Cost of college went down for all students at Maharishi University of Management

Tuition and fees fell 40 percent for 2018-19 at Maharishi University of Management, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Iowa students paid $16,530 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $11,000 less than the $27,530 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 17 students received grants or scholarships totaling $391,680 and 13 students took out student loans totaling more than $147,089.

Including all undergraduates (1,589), 222 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.8 million, and 197 students took out $2 million in federal student loans.
