100 percent of applicants to Maharishi University of Management were admitted for fall 2018

At Maharishi University of Management, 55 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 63 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Fairfield enrolled 1,589 students in fall 2018, including 324 in undergraduate and 1,265 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

5 percent of undergraduates are residents of Iowa, and 85 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (29 percent) and Black or African American (9 percent).

The school admitted 100 percent of the 34 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 53 percent enrolled.
