Wednesday, March 12: Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s college team wins to Louisiana Tech Bulldogs

On Wednesday, March 12, former Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s current college team, the Oklahoma Sooners, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

The game took place at L. Dale Mitchell Park. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Sooners’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 7 p.m. at Founders Park against South Carolina Gamecocks.
