On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s current college team, the Oklahoma Sooners, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oregon State Beavers.

The game took place at Dell Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Beavers this season.

The Sooners’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 4:30 p.m. at Dell Diamond against Virginia Cavaliers.
