On Wednesday, April 9, former Van Buren High School standout Maddie Pawlak’s current college team, the Lake Erie Storm, lost 18-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Hillsdale Chargers.

The game took place at Kiwanis Recreation Park. This was their second matchup against the Chargers this season.

The Storm’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 1 p.m. at Anderson Field against Findlay Oilers.
