On Friday, March 21, former Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s current college team, the Oklahoma Sooners, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The game took place at L. Dale Mitchell Park. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Sooners’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park against Mississippi State Bulldogs.
