Friday, March 14: Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s college team wins to South Carolina Gamecocks

On Friday, March 14, former Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s current college team, the Oklahoma Sooners, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The game took place at Founders Park. This was their first matchup against the Gamecocks this season.

The Sooners’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 4 p.m. at Founders Park against South Carolina Gamecocks.
