On Friday, Feb. 14, former Fairfield High School standout Hannah Simpson’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Sacramento State Hornets.

The game took place at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hornets this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1:45 p.m. at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium against Utah Tech Trailblazers.
