Sunday, Feb. 9: Van Buren High School standout Maddie Pawlak’s college team loses to North Georgia Nighthawks

On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Van Buren High School standout Maddie Pawlak’s current college team, the Lake Erie Storm, lost 23-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Storm’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at UIS Softball Complex against UIS Prairie Stars.
