On Friday, March 28, former Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s current college team, the Oklahoma Sooners, lost 8-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The game took place at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Crimson Tide this season.

The Sooners’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Sewell-Thomas Stadium against Alabama Crimson Tide.
