On Sunday, March 23, former Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s current college team, the Oklahoma Sooners, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The game took place at L. Dale Mitchell Park. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Sooners’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at J. L. Johnson Stadium against Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.
