On Friday, March 14, former Van Buren High School standout Maddie Pawlak’s current college team, the Lake Erie Storm, lost 16-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saint Martin's Saints.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Saints this season.

The Storm’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 3:15 p.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Emporia State Hornets.
