On Sunday, March 9, former Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s current college team, the Oklahoma Sooners, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Sam Houston Bearkats.

The game took place at L. Dale Mitchell Park. This was their third matchup against the Bearkats this season.

The Sooners’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park against Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
