On Saturday, March 1, former Van Buren High School standout Maddie Pawlak’s current college team, the Lake Erie Storm, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UIS Prairie Stars.

The game took place at UIS Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Prairie Stars this season.

The Storm’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 11 a.m. at Beech Grove High School against Indianapolis Greyhounds.
