Wednesday, Feb. 26: Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s college team wins to Texas Southern Tigers

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Fairfield High School standout Nate Smithburg’s current college team, the Oklahoma Sooners, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas Southern Tigers.

The game took place at L. Dale Mitchell Park. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Sooners’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park against Cal State Northridge Matadors.
