On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Wapello Senior High School standout Serah Shafer’s current college team, the Upper Iowa Peacocks, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Harding Bisons.

The game took place at Memorial Park. This was their first matchup against the Bisons this season.

The Peacocks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12 p.m. at Beech Grove High School against Indianapolis Greyhounds.
