On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Van Buren High School standout Maddie Pawlak’s current college team, the Lake Erie Storm, lost 15-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Storm’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 4 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against West Florida Argonauts.
