Iowa midterms sees Taxpayers for Collins in Des Moines County spend the most during Q1

Taxpayers for Collins spent the most out of in Des Moines County political committees during the first quarter of 2024, according to the Iowa.gov.

It spent $26,491 on five vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was to Republican Party of Iowa, which is based in ZIP Code 50309.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in a city within Des Moines County during the first quarter of 2024 came from Iha, PAC. It spent $5,885 during the time period on five different vendors.

More than $22 million was raised for the Iowa Senate race in 2022. This was split fairly evenly between the Republican and Democrat parties.
