Property taxes are used to help fund important things such as education and city and county government. Even though Access Energy Cooperative is a non-profit organization, your cooperative pays property taxes for the poles, wires, transformers, etc. on our lines, plus another tax bill for the office and warehouse. Your cooperative pays taxes in all ten counties we serve. The following is a breakdown of the property taxes paid in 2022.
