Census Bureau: More women than men in Wayland in 2020

Of the 1,149 people living in Wayland in 2020, 54.9 percent (631) were women and 45.1 percent (518) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Iowa News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 36. In the 65 and over age range, there were 150 females and 94 males.
