City of Keokuk recently issued the following announcement.
Due to the observance of President's Day on Monday, February 21, 2022 there will be a double pickup of residential garbage on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
The garbage pickup on Tuesday will include persons who regularly have their garbage collected on Monday.
Residents should place their garbage at the regular pickup location by 7:00 a.m.
Please note that a delay in pickup of garbage and recycling materials may occur due to the observed holiday.
