Teen Talk: Fairfield Public Library as a Community Space for Teens on December 18

Webp genbusiness002

Fairfield Public Library recently issued the following announcement.

Teen Talk: Fairfield Public Library as a Community Space for Teens

Date & Time: Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 1:30-2:30pm

Location: FPL Meeting Room

Join other local teens for a discussion about expanding services and resources for teens at the public library. In spring of 2021, Fairfield Public Library received a $3,000 grant from the American Library Association to hold talks with teens and begin developing a space for them at FPL. The Youth Services Department wants to know what teens think the library can do to draw more teens to programs at the library. We are also interested in learning about how to better communicate with teens about upcoming programs.

This event is open to Jefferson County youth ages 13-18. Attendees are eligible to claim 1 hour of community services for this event. Total attendance is limited to 20 participants with pre-registration recommended. Masks continue to be required in the library and social distancing is encouraged. Light refreshments will be served.
