City of Keokuk recently issued the following announcement.
Due to the observance of Thanksgiving Day and the day after being designated as a holiday, there will be a double pickup of residential garbage on Wednesday, November 24, and Monday, November 29, 2021.
The garbage pickup on Wednesday will include persons who regularly have their garbage collected on Thursday. The garbage pickup on Monday will include persons who regularly have their garbage collected on Friday. Residents should place their garbage cans at the regular pickup location by 7 :00 a.m.
Please note that a delay in pickup may occur due to the Observed Holidays.
