Jefferson County Health Center issued the following announcement on September 13.
Jefferson County Health Center (JCHC) has a good reason to celebrate. As a 2021 Des Moines Register Top Workplace, they join an exclusive club of Iowa employers recognized for their focus and dedication to employees. Bryan Hunger, CEO, was overjoyed to hear the news.
“Being named a Top Workplace is humbling, and a true honor. It’s a testament to the quality and caring nature of our staff,” said Hunger. “They instill a positive culture of compassion and excellence throughout our entire organization.”
This is the 7th time JCHC has been recognized as a Top Workplace, previously being selected in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019. A company receives the honor based on the results of a third-party employee engagement survey conducted in the spring. Companies and organizations who earn high marks on the surveys are named Top Workplaces.
“2020 and 2021 were difficult years to be in healthcare. “said Jacque Bookin-Nosbisch, Chief Nursing Officer. “being named a Top Workplace because of our employees’ feedback is simply wonderful.”
Several JCHC employees attended a Top Workplace awards event in Des Moines earlier in September.
