City of Keokuk recently issued the following announcement.
Due to the observance of Labor Day, there will be a double pickup of residential garbage on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. The garbage pickup on Tuesday will include persons who regularly have their garbage collected on Monday. Residents should place their garbage cans at the regular pickup location by 7 :00 a.m.
Please note that a delay in pickup of recycling materials may occur due to the observed holiday.
