City of Burlington recently issued the following announcement on August 31.
Labor Day is a holiday for Burlington Solid Waste crews. TRASH from Monday’s route will be collected on TUESDAY, September 7th. Other routes are on their normal schedule, but crews may come earlier or later in the day than you are used to. Always set out trash by 7:00 a.m.
The DMC Regional Waste Commission including the DMC Regional Landfill, the Area Recyclers facility, and the HazChem Center are closed on Labor Day.
