For four days each August, corn is king in West Point - and the community celebration of Iowa royalty is more fun than a horse trough full of delicious, tender sweetcorn! Beginning with the traditional "suckfest" on Wednesday afternoon, the festival includes free live music (including national rock & roll tribute band Decade of Decadence), a carnival, parade, contests and tournaments and of course, a LOT of corn - along with plenty of other fair favorites.
