Census Bureau reports Henry County population was 19,941 in 2019

Henry County had a population of 19,941 people in 2019, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Iowa News.

The median age was 40, with 49.2 percent of the total population being female and 50.8 percent male.

The state's total population in 2019 was 3,139,508.
