Census Bureau: More women than men in Birmingham in 2019

Of the 607 people living in Birmingham in 2019, 50.7 percent (308) were women and 49.3 percent (299) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Iowa News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 191-to-163. In the 65 and over age range, there were 63 females and 25 males.
