Census Bureau: More men than women in Van Buren County in 2019

Of the 7,150 people living in Van Buren County in 2019, 48.7 percent (3,485) were women and 51.3 percent (3,665) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Iowa News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 2,000-to-1,899. In the 65 and over age range, there were 827 females and 755 males.
