City of Keokuk issued the following announcement on Dec. 12.
Due to the observance of the New Year's holiday, there will be a double pickup of residential garbage on Monday, January 4, 2021. The garbage pickup on Monday will include persons who regularly have their garbage collected on Friday. Residents should place their garbage at the regular pickup location by 7 :00 a.m. Please note that a delay in garbage collection may occur due to the observed holiday.
