Greater Burlington Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.

The Greater Burlington Partnership’s Government Relations Committee is hosting a webinar via ZOOM on Wednesday, August 5 at 1:30 PM on Des Moines County Schools “Return to Learn” Plan.  Area superintendents and school leadership will speak and give updates on each district’s “Return to Learn” Plan for this fall.  Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to leadership via chat. Speakers will include:

Burlington Community School District

Superintendent, Pat Coen

Director of Curriculum, Cory Johnson

Burlington Notre Dame Schools

Principal, Bill Maupin

Danville Community School District

Superintendent, Dr. Thomas Ward

West Burlington Independent School District

Superintendent, Lisa Beams

Mediapolis Community School District is unable to attend due to scheduling.

No registration is needed to attend the event.  To attend, visit the Facebook Event Page: Eggs & Issues – Return to Learn for the link to attend or visit GreaterBurlington.com and click on link to enter before the event begins on Wednesday, August 5 at 1:30 PM.

The meeting is open to Chamber of Commerce members and parents who have students that attend one the school districts. Press is invited to attend as well.
