City of Burlington issued the following announcement on May 29.
The Iowa D.O.T. has announced that beginning Monday June 1, 2020 the exit ramp 263 eastbound for Main and Front Street on Hwy 34 through Burlington will be closed. The closure will last approximately 4 weeks while crews are repairing the Great River Bridge. During this time the exits in Gulfport will remain open for traffic wishing to turn around and use exit 263 westbound to access Bluff Road(Des Moines County Highway 99) or Main Street.
