City of Keokuk issued the following announcement on Apr. 2.
Due to the observance of Good Friday, there will be a double pickup of residential garbage on Thursday, April 9, 2020. The garbage pickup on Thursday will include persons who regularly have their garbage collected on Friday. Residents should place their garbage at the regular pickup location by 7:00 a.m.
Please note that a delay in pickup of yard waste materials may occur due to the observed holiday.
