“A Place to Grow”, a film about the evolution of farming in and around Fairfield, will be shown, free of charge, at the Fairfield Public Library Meeting Room on Friday, Jan 31st at 7:30pm. It is an insightful and touching documentary about the people who worked the soil in this small Southeast Iowa community dating back to its Native American roots up through today. This films runs 83 minutes and there will be an opportunity for Q+A with local documentarian Director Dick DeAngelis. Doors open at 7pm and the film starts at 7:30pm.
