Fairfield Public Library issued the following announcement on Jan. 26.
Fairfield Public Library has been selected to benefit from the “Hy-Vee Reusable Bag” program that supports local non-profits. The program is designed for Hy-Vee customers to contribute to their local community while supporting the environment.
During the month of February, each time a $2.50 red My Heart Reusable Bag is purchased at the local Hy-Vee store, $1 will be donated to the library.* Hy-Vee is using this program to raise awareness, to support the environment, and to fundraise for selected nonprofits.
