Greater Burlington Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 9.
What community organizations/events do you volunteer for? I'm on the Junior Achievement and United Way committees at U.S. Bank, I serve meals at Great River Hospice, I volunteer at my son's elementary school, and I'm the den leader of his Cub Scout den.
Why did you decide to join YP?
I wanted to find more opportunities to be involved in the community.
What do you enjoy most about the Greater Burlington area?
I love the size of Burlington. It's big enough that there are always events going on and things to do, but small enough that you will always find familiar faces.
Share one thing about yourself that makes you stand out from other YP members.
In college, I changed my major several times, got my degree in anthropology, and ended up working in banking. I've learned to keep an open mind about the future over the years.
