City of Keokuk issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
The City of Keokuk has vacancies or terms expiring on many boards and commissions and is seeking interested persons to serve. If you are interested in any of the following positions, please contact the City at (319)524-2050. You must be a resident of Keokuk to serve on any of the boards and commissions.
Airport Commission- 1 six year term.
Architectural Design Review- 5 two year terms.
Board of Adjustment- 1 partial five year term.
Building and Housing Advisory Board- 1 three year term.
Grand Theater Commission- 5 three year terms.
Human Rights Commission- 4 three years terms
Park and Recreation Advisory Board- 3 three year terms.
Tumelty Park Commission- 3 three year terms.
Veterans Memorial Commission- 2 five year terms.
Historic Preservation Commission- 5 three year terms.
Keokuk Public Library Board- 1 six year term.
